So, let’s do it differently this year! This Thanksgiving, start making smarter choices about what you eat and pick portion sizes to help you avoid gaining weight this holiday season.
Here are a few tips for the largest eating day of the year:
Don’t fast: If you wait all day to eat, you will probably overeat.
Drink water: Don’t mistake thirst for hunger.
Eat your veggies: Fill about half of your plate with veggies.
Get moving: Go for a walk, play some football, or do anything that gets you moving.
